TWT History
Founded in 2013, The Waggy Tour is a weekly golf league established by a close-knit group of friends in Las Vegas, Nevada. The original members included Randy Wagner, Mike Goida, Pete Rockne, and Paul “Old School” Henning. The league prides itself on a foundation of integrity, friendly competition, and a deep respect for the game of golf. There was no official championship and trophy until 2015. In the early years was a regular season of approx 15 rounds and a one day playoff with strokes, “if you want them!” TWT has evolved to the current structure of approx 20 sanctioned rounds, scores are averaged and strokes are awarded a 3 day playoff.
Over the years, the lineup has remained relatively stable, with only one significant change: Paul Henning departed the tour in 2019 to relocate to Florida. For several years, the tour continued with just three golfers and various “Alternates” until Tony Silvestri had a brief audition in 2022 and joined TWT full-time in 2023, revitalizing the group and maintaining the tradition of camaraderie and sporting spirit that defines The Waggy Tour.
